Our outfits start from £865 and go up to £4125 with prices for each outfit clear on our website We understand that the budget for our nearly-weds will vary, so to ensure we can accommodate for as many people as possible. Keep an eye on our socials for our sample sales that offer our stock at a big price reduction!
We have sample sizes 8-24. We encourage our nearly-weds to ignore sizes and focus on how they feel in the outfits they are trying on. As we say in our mission statement, we want to help you find an outfit that fits you and who you are, not the other way around.
We have a wide variety of styles, and the collection is always growing. Everything we stock is on our website but if you see something from one of our stocked designers that isn’t on our website, let us know and we may be able to request a loan outfit for you to try during your appointment
Yes. This ensures that we can give you our full attention and you get exclusive use of the boutique.
We know that some people want to pop in to look around and decide whether they want to book a full appointment or experience – if that’s you, look out for the ‘Open for Consultations’ sign outside the boutique!
We offer a free 45-minute personal consultation but make a modest charge for the rest of our experiences [link to experiences] which have been designed to make this a truly memorable moment for you and those lucky enough to share it with you.
If you need to amend or cancel your booking, please give us at least 5 days’ notice so that other nearly-weds can book in. We will issue a full refund for cancellations received up to 5 days before the appointment date, cancellations after this will not receive a refund.
We offer appointments and experiences that vary in length:
Pearl – a 45-minute personal consultation to discuss desired styles and view our collections. Please book one of our other appointment styles if you wish to try on any outfits.
Opal – a 1-hour appointment, with the option to try on up to 4 pre-selected styles
Sapphire – a 90-minute appointment, with the opportunity to try up to 6 pre-selected styles
Diamond – a 2-hour appointment, with the opportunity to try up to 8 pre-selected styles
The maximum number of guests we can accommodate comfortably is 5 guests and you, the nearly-wed. The number of guests per appointment is dependent on the experience you choose. Please read the descriptions of each experience before booking to ensure you book one that is right for you.
We recommend bringing people in your life who are loving and supportive, whose opinion you value and trust; people you want to share your “Yes” moment with.
We want our guests to be able to relax as much as possible and fully indulge in our experiences. Babies in arms are welcome; however, we don’t allow children under the age of 11 and no more than two children at a single appointment.
PLEASE NOTE ALCOHOL WILL NOT BE SERVED IN APPOINTMENTS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT
That is up to you, the nearly-wed. If you are happy for photographs to be taken, please feel free to do so, but please ensure any rules you have for the photographs, such as no posting the images, are communicated to your guests.
We have tried to ensure that our boutique is accessible, with ample space to manoeuvre a wheelchair or walking aids, a rail in the changing space and an accessible powder room with toilet. There are no steps, just a small lip to get through the door.
We close the boutique for each appointment to ensure you get our undivided attention. When you arrive, you will come into our appointment space which is visually separated from the public boutique space to give you complete privacy during this very personal experience.
You can choose your lighting, choose your music, and get comfy on our sofas. We’ll bring you refreshments based on the appointment you have booked.
The dresses from your wish list will be ready for you, but don’t worry, you can try on more if there is time! Our generous changing space is designed for all levels of mobility, and we are on-hand to advise about and assist with getting into and out of outfits.
Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in! Most dresses are made so you can’t see underwear underneath so whether you choose something bright or skin-toned, it is up to you! Most dresses have support built in so a bra isn’t necessary most of the time but understand you may want to wear one for your comfort.
You may want to bring a pair of shoes that are a similar height to the ones you plan to wear on your big day.
The nearest parking can be found at The Kennet Centre. This multistorey car park has disabled spaces and electric charging available and is a 5 minute-walk from the True 2 You boutique.
Our proximity to Newbury Bus Station and Newbury Train Stations means it’s easy to get here via public transport too!
We serve nearly-weds from all over the UK and in our experience, choosing a seamstress near you gives the best outcome. Naturally we can recommend seamstress services in the Newbury area.
Most dresses will take approximately 6 months to complete. We recommend you purchase your outfit at least 9 months prior to your wedding to allow time for the dress to be made and then to be altered for a perfect fit.
If you need a dress sooner than this, we may be able to request an express service from our designers at an additional cost
We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit when you say “yes” and the remining 50% before collection. Please speak to us if you need to spread the payments for this balance over several weeks or months. This option is made available at our discretion and payments must be completed before your outfit can be collected.
Any sample dresses and accessories will need to be paid for in full.
We recommend that you keep your dress in the bag provided, hung up in a temperature- controlled room and away from sharp claws!

Please bear in mind that once you have made your choice, we place an order for your outfit to be made, just for you. In the unlikely event that you have a change of heart, please let us know. As soon as possible.
Your 50% deposit is not refundable, but we will do our best to cancel the order or sell the outfit when it is delivered to us. If this has not been possible then you will be required to pay the remaining balance.
